See and Spell Bottle Caps

Now that is so serious concentration when your tongue sticks out! =0)
I printed out several 3 letter words on card stock and used a Sharpie to make letters on bottle caps. Quick and easy language lesson.
As you can see by the car on the table, they are his favorite things right now. We visited that card over and over!

**Don't just leave it at matching letters:
Make sure to sound out the letters,
and say the word!
Reinforce the fact that letters put together have a meaning!

Told ya he has a car fetish! LOL

  1. Great idea! I have been saving bottle caps with no purpose - just thought I'd finally figure out what to do with them. Got some inspiration from you!

  2. Love the concentration on your son! This is a great way to reuse items from around the home into learning activities (we have tons of bottle caps in our garage because I am sure there is going to be a school project we can use them on in the future). Thank you for linking up to my Enchanted Thursdays Blog Hop!

  5. That is so funny! He is a cutie. I really like this word game because you can use recycling. If I don't have to buy anything to make it, that is a huge plus. Thanks for sharing at Mom's Library!

  6. Love the idea! Do you mind me asking how old your little guy is? I'm wondering when my little guy might be ready for activities like this. Thanks!
