God Heals

Guess what we've been dealing with?
My house has the flu.

However, I know the greatest physician...
He is great with kids and is very comforting.
He makes house calls and is always on time.
He has healed all manner of disease and raised folks from the grave.
I'm sure he has an office near you!
Who is it, you ask?

  1. What a nice post! I agree, Christ can do anything.

  2. We are a family that uses a lot of natural things for ailments. We have been for quite some time now.

I realize that is not for everyone.

I will leave a few suggestions in case you are interested. One is to dose yourself or whole family on very high dosages of vitamin C. It is perfectly safe if you get the ascorbic acid kind. Whatever your body doesn't need will be flushed out. (it flushes out in the form of loose stools)

It is not very effective if you use a drug store brand. We always go with a brand from the health food store.

I generally take 18,000 to 30,000 mgs of vitamin C a day even without the flu,, and have been taking large doses off and on for about a decade now.

Here is a website that describes how to dose yourself for the cold or flu properly and see results:

Another thing we like to use is a good source of probiotics from the Health food store, refrigerated kind, and take several every hour. This helps bolster the immune system and helps stop vomiting.

And the thing my mom likes most for the flu is a tea called pau-d-arco. You have to buy a certain kind, or it is not effective. We know because we have tried a lot of them. But my mom was on it one year when she had a very dangerous flu and she said it was amazing at helping her get better in days as opposed to everyone else around her taking weeks.

We are not associated with any of the websites or brands, it's just what has worked for us.

  3. So beautifully expressed! Of course Our Lord is interested in every aspect of our lives, and is attentive the most when we are the weakest. Your cute little boy is so lucky to grow up nurtured in this attitude! Best wishes for a very quick recovery!
